Tours & Volunteering
Tours
Tours are by donation, suggested at $100/hour for up to four people, but you can pick your own donation amount if you’re not able to do the suggested donation. An hour will cover our chicken coop, pigeon aviary and our barn, which houses our pigs, ducks, goose and turkey. Two hours will add on a hike to try to find the goats, cows and horses.
We're open 8am-5pm 7 days a week, and will do our best to accommodate your requested date and time! However, we usually aren't able to accommodate same day tour requests.
During the tour, we’ll talk about our different residents’ history, and the lives they escaped. We can tailor content as required; please let us know in advance. We can also cater to larger groups. You can sign up for a tour below. If you have any questions, please go to the contact page.
Volunteering
We welcome volunteers seven days a week, and have tasks for all ages and abilities. We have daily barn cleaning and monthly deep cleaning that you can help with. Our goats, cows and a couple of the horses loved to be brushed and showered with affection. A few of the pigs love it when volunteers give them belly rubs. We also have endless amount of thistle removal to be done. Want to strap on a tool belt and build something? Our residents have big plans and want your help realizing them!
If you’d rather volunteer as part of a larger group, we can cater to that too, either as part of your own group, or as part of our monthly organized work parties, usually on the last Sunday of the month (check in with us, or our social media).
Please sign our volunteer waiver form before coming out.
